These terms apply when you request a quote or book upholstery work with Sofa Upholstery Dubai (we, us). By asking us to carry out work you agree to them.
Our service
We reupholster sofas and related seating, including renewing foam, webbing, springs and covers, and we collect and deliver the furniture within our service area.
Quotes and home visits
- The home visit and fabric samples are free.
- After inspecting your furniture we give you a written quote. It is valid for the period stated on it.
- If we find hidden damage while working, such as a broken frame, we will tell you and agree any change with you before continuing.
Fabrics and colours
Colours in samples, photographs and on screens can differ slightly from the finished piece. Please confirm your chosen fabric in writing before work starts. If you supply your own fabric, we cannot be responsible for its suitability or quantity.
Collection, delivery and timing
Typical completion time is 7 to 10 days from collection, but it depends on the work and fabric availability. Any date we give is an estimate, not a guarantee. Please make sure someone is available to hand over and receive the furniture.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit, are set out in your written quote.
Cancellation
You may cancel before work begins. Once fabric has been ordered or cut for you, or work has started, costs already incurred may be charged.
Your responsibilities
- Remove personal items from the furniture before collection.
- Tell us about any known damage, repairs or allergies relevant to the work.
- Check the finished furniture on delivery and tell us about any concern straight away.
Warranty
We provide a written warranty of 2 years on frame repairs, foam and stitching carried out by us. It does not cover normal wear, misuse, pet damage, spills or stains, or damage caused by others. Fabric is covered by the manufacturer's own warranty, where one applies.
Liability
We take care of your furniture while it is with us. Our liability is limited to the value of the work we carried out, and we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable law.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and disputes fall under the courts of Dubai.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
